Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have in enough, and then more. It turns denial in acceptance. Chaos into Order. Confusion into Clarity.  Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.    Melody Beattie
Melody Beattie is the author of Codependent No More, which was published in 1987 by the Hazelden Foundation, based in Maple Grove, Minnesota and a major drug rehabilitation clinic albeit very expensive.

I have personally known a few people who went there to dry out, & one them, Russell K.,  killed himself there about 20 years ago when he was 28, so how good it really is I cannot say there but I can post, it’s very expensive.

More importantly, Ms Beattie, introduces the word codependent to the general public. Click here for the definitions and checklist of exactly what is codependent and how it affects your life.

Ms. Beattie’s latest endeavors can be found on her website here; from what I could see, she seems to be very active.
