Found Money

The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. (Proverbs 10:3) King James Version.

3 The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry, but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.” (English Standard version)

Yesterday I was walking along with the dogs.  The house next door is empty and has been since June.  The house across the street is empty and has been since last Christmas when the elderly owners died.  So literally there are few “active” people nearby.
Across the street  is the Russian church.  The weather was nice and sun bright so while normally I vary my way back home, yesterday I didn’t.  On the return trip on the lawn outside the house next door, which I always refer to Mary and Mark’s  house because they were the last owners,  there was scattered on the lawn a bunch of green paper.  The colour struck me and what do you know?  It was a bunch of money.  Twenty three dollars to be exact and I could not but help to think how propitious it was  right now,  as I was up to this quote in the Bible.
So Proverbs 10:3 tells you if you follow His path you are like the sparrow and will always be taken care of, whether you realize it or not, but if you are wicked then all you have is yourself, your own will.  And that’s a lonely place to be
