Cynthia paints a sorrowful tale of being married to John who obviously wanted to get rid of his Liverpool roots. This was the cause of the great McCartney – Lennon split btw; Paul was against his treatment of Cynthia and Julian and John resented his interference.
Well as life showed, John resented anyone’s interference, and Yoko who abandoned her own daughter previously, encouraged that behaviour. Sad. At least in the end, John made up with his son, Julian; and Yoko healed her rift with Cyn. Still, it had to be a long rocky road.
