In 2018, The Voice of the Martyrs released the award-winning film Tortured for Christ, a dramatic retelling of Pastor Richard Wurmbrand’s 14-year imprisonment because of his comments that Christianity and Communism cannot coexist — those idiotic bumper stickers notwithstanding. The flick is filmed entirely on location in Romania, including from the prison where the good pastor suffered in solitary confinement.
